The reunion will open Wednesday May 9, 2012 and secure Saturday morning May 12, 2012 in Chattanooga, TN. Headquarters for our reunion has been reserved at the Chattanooga Choo Choo Hotel. ACTIVITIES: Ride the River Gorge Explorer, Vaudeville Café-buffet and entertainment, and the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum
WEATHER: Estimated weather conditions in Chattanooga during our stay are: Temperature 77H- 54L; Humidity avg. 69 % ; Rain 1.23” for the month.
UNIFORM CONTEST: Bring all or any part of your uniform for this event. It is surprising how many can still fit in their old uniform. WE NEED MORE PARTICIPANTS!
CHINESE AUCTION: Attendees are requested to bring items to donate for the raffle. The money raised from this event funds refreshments available in the hospitality room. Last year’s raffle was a great success due to the many items donated and Phil Zipp’s entertainment as auctioneer.
OTHER ATTRACTIONS: Look Out Mountain includes The Incline Train, Rock City, and Ruby Falls. The Tennessee Aquarium contains salt and fresh water exhibits. History buffs will enjoy the many sites such as Chickamauga National Military Park and other exhibits. There are many Art and Culture places of interest.
Plan to extend your vacation with reduced room rates two days before and two days after our scheduled reunion.
The Willard Keith Reunion is open to all men, and their guests, who ever served on the Willard Keith during its lifetime. The other requirement to attend a reunion is to pay the annual membership fee of $25. This money is primarily used to search for shipmates by use of our website, phone, and mail, and subscribing to locating programs. Membership in the association enables you to receive all correspondence during the year. Membership dues are collected by our treasurer
Cliff “Red” Stanbrough, 3 Glenn Ave, Alamogordo, NM 88310
